Overview

Dàro Vu̽ Gûchya was founded durring the late 17th century in late summer of the year 1590, by Pangwen. The establishment of Dàro Vu̽ Gûchya suffered from several major issues, resulting in the need to develop many solutions to basic problems. Problems such as a lack of fresh water, logistical support, poor quality tools, and the odd monster or two. Howeaver, these were overcome in time.

Dàro Vu̽ Gûchya was built using the conventions of Rattu durring the late 17th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Dàro Vu̽ Gûchya is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Dàro Vu̽ Gûchya is buildings are built arround a single narrow carved bedrock mainstreet which forms a counterclockwise spiral to give the city a over all circular shape. The city is the proud owner of a proper castle-style stone wall complete with all of the trimmings. It has towers, a moat, gatehouses, drawbridges, and even merticulationsshortsizeleadershipname.. Dàro Vu̽ Gûchya's perhapse unnessisarily well built defences are suffering from significent damage, so much so that examples can be pointed to no matter which section one might have within their line of site, and most of which render sections inoperable at present.

Dàro Vu̽ Gûchya seems to be abandoned at first. There are people present, working their trades and going about their business like any community, it’s just they are absurdly quiet. Just as you start to think there might be trouble, you see most of them are smiling, quietly exchanging words with a friend, or simply enjoying the day as they work. It reminds you of an evening at home as everyone dined, having run out of things to talk about and embraced the savory meal before them.

History

Dàro Vu̽ Gûchya is in secret rebellion against their ostensible liege, having cut deals with his enemies, plotted to betray him for their own gain, or bridled under his tyranny and sought a better lord. The community’s leadership is all in on this plot, and outside viceroys or representatives are being kept carefully ignorant of the reality. The common folk may be oblivious to the truth, though they’ll doubtless have felt the same motivations and promptings that convinced their leaders to turn traitor.

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the early 2nd century the Sjeríhzvāj̼ Heathland was struck by a drought when Tarn Poso grew too small to continue feeding Stream Iris, which reduced the available water supply nationwide, but was especially harsh in the area arround Dàro Vu̽ Gûchya. As the neighboring regions had no water so spare, Dàro Vu̽ Gûchya lost 175 people, and 216 livestock in the disaster.. The drought lasted for 2 weeks, which are remembered as the Dread Thirst.
